The bonus of enjoying the company of fellow members is far and away the most treasured MCC benefit.
Merchantville Country Club is a superior quality golf experience with a close-knit membership. We strive to offer our members and their families the best possible private club atmosphere. Our Core Values, great golf, great friendship, great value, apply throughout our wide range of membershipclasses.
At MCC we provide the ability to practice all aspects of your game. Our short game area includesputting greens, bunkers and various areas of rough and fairway offering the ability to fine-tune your game from 90 yards and in under all conditions. A long-iron range and multiple driving nets are available, ensuring fullcapabilities. Combine these practice areas with a lesson package from our golf pro and watch your gameimprove.
On the course, golfers experience manicured tees, well-groomed fairways, adaptable rough, and quick greens. Members and guests alike tout MCC's consistent and true conditions. Tee markers range from 5,300 to 6,200 yards, allowing all types of players to get the most out of their game. Precise shots are demanded in order to hit the tight fairways and small greens. MCC is a nine-hole course but has 11 greens and 12 tee boxes. This makes a majority of the holes on the back nine play differently than the frontnine. Out of bounds is present on almost every hole while the omnipresent "bern" snakes through the course, forcing golfers to cross it 26 times in a normal round. Combine all of this trouble and golfers see one of the highest slope ratings compared to area clubs.
MCC holds frequent golf leagues and tournaments during the golf season. Participation is encouraged, as competition is something everyone can relish. The course makes for a great outing venue, providing a fun atmosphere and quality service to guarantee a delightful experience for all.
