Hospitality and Communications Manager

Job Description

In keeping with the exceptionally high standards established by Willowsford, the responsibilities of the Hospitality and Communications Manager are to oversee the Resident Services and Hospitality Staff as well as the banquet rental program to provide residents and their guests resort-level service. The Hospitality and Communications Manager will also implement all communication tools creating an inclusive, informational, and engaging environment for residents. Some evenings and weekends are required. The following specific area duties is not an exhaustive list.

Candidate Qualifications

SPECIFIC AREA DUTIES

  • Part-Time Hospitality and Resident Services Staff
    • Supervise the part-time Hospitality Staff and full-time Resident Services Staff
    • Create, distribute, and manage the schedule for Hospitality and Resident Services Staff ensuring the buildings and events are staffed appropriately
    • Responsible for initial and on-going training of Hospitality and Resident Services Staff ensuring all team members meet the high standard for service
    • Serve as back up for primary email account responses and front desk coverage
  • Lifestyle & Amenity Rentals
    • Acting Event Manager to be present during and oversee various events annually as assigned by the Lifestyle Director
    • Responsible to administer all aspects of the rental program
    • Maintain the registration software database; troubleshoot, and create and distribute reports
  • Communications / Marketing
    • Social Media
      • Create and post engaging content including helpful information, community events and activities
      • Monitor social media pages and ensure responses are provided
    • Website
      • Create and update engaging content ensuring consistency with other platforms
      • Create and manage event registration
      • Willowsford Mercantile (merchandise)- develop and market offerings, fulfill orders, and maintain visibility/viability of the service
    • Newsletter email and Magazine Publication
      • Draft and send Willowsford Weekly email and other email communications including creating and updating content.
      • Create and manage the HOA’s content schedule and provide monthly content to publisher

  • Supervisory experience including staff training and development
  • Website administration and newsletter publication

  • Exceptional knowledge of MS Office products including Publisher and/or InDesign, as well
  • Proficiency in Internet use and research
  • Familiarity with office equipment

  • Time management, telephone, and people skills
