Southampton Golf Club is a private club located in the heart of the Hamptons on the east end of Long Island. Founded in 1925 and designed by renowned architect Seth Raynor, the club has just celebrated its 100th year anniversary. Our 18-hole par 70 layout has Poa/bent greens, blue/rye/poa tees and fairways, and fescue rough. The clubhouse is a converted barn with full service food and beverage areas which include an 80 seat dining area, 40 seat bar/lounge area and 80 seat outdoor patio and covered porch area. Southampton has hosted the US Open local qualifier three times as well as numerous MGA events including this year’s MGA Junior Championship. We look forward to hosting the 2026 local qualifying round this spring with the US open coming to Shinnceock Hills Golf Club right next door. The course hosts 21,000 Member and guest rounds annually between April and November.
The culture at Southampton is unique. The Membership embraces their club for its unique value in providing a true respite from their busy lives. There is a unique cohesive relationship with members and staff that, while maintaining professionalism, there is mutual support and respect for the goals and objectives of the Club for its members and their guests.
There are several special events held throughout the season and all are well supported and enjoyed by the membership. The club generally does not host any outside events as our membership is active in their use of the club.
