Ardsley Country Club
Ardsley Country Club is a distinguished private club located in Irvington, New York, overlooking the Hudson River in the heart of Westchester County. Founded in 1895, the Club has a long and proud history and recently celebrated its 130th anniversary, reflecting more than a century of tradition, camaraderie, and excellence in sport and hospitality.
The Club features an outstanding 18-hole championship golf course, complemented by expansive practice facilities and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and Hudson River valley. In addition to golf, Ardsley offers a vibrant racquet sports program with tennis, paddle tennis, and pickleball, providing year-round opportunities for members to stay active and engaged.
The historic clubhouse serves as the social heart of the Club. It offers multiple dining venues and gathering spaces where members and their guests enjoy exceptional food, warm hospitality, and a lively social calendar. The clubhouse includes formal and casual dining areas, a welcoming bar and lounge, and outdoor terrace seating overlooking the grounds.

Ardsley Country Club is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Dining Room Manager to lead service in our vibrant and growing clubhouse dining program. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, creating memorable dining experiences, and being part of a welcoming private club community.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with members and guests, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service while mentoring and developing a talented service team.
The Dining Room Manager reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and plays a key leadership role in the daily operations of the clubhouse dining program.
What You'll Do
As Dining Room Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the dining room while ensuring a warm, professional, and seamless dining experience for our members and guests.
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead, train, schedule, and mentor a team of dining room professionals
· Foster a positive, team-oriented service culture
· Conduct pre-service meetings and communicate key service details with staff and kitchen team
· Ensure all team members meet service standards, uniform expectations, and hospitality goals
Guest & Member Experience
· Maintain a strong presence on the floor and build relationships with members
· Ensure timely and polished service during all meal periods and special events
· Address member feedback and resolve service concerns with professionalism
· Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service execution
Dining Room Operations
· Plan dining room floor layouts based on reservations and anticipated volume
· Manage reservations and seating flow to maintain efficient service pacing
· Coordinate communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff
· Oversee side work, service standards, and cleanliness of dining areas
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
· Monitor labor scheduling and assist in managing department budgets
· Analyze revenue reports and POS data to help drive dining performance
· Manage payroll submissions and staff scheduling
· Support beverage programming including wine lists and promotions
· Maintain inventory of dining room service equipment and supplies
Systems & Technology
· Utilize POS systems such as NorthStar or Jonas
· Train staff on POS procedures and service workflows
· Perform daily POS closeouts and reporting
Additional Responsibilities
· Assist with wine service and beverage programming
· Serve as closing manager for clubhouse operations
· Collaborate with leadership on dining promotions and programming
· Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and club policies
