Summit Rock, Horseshoe Bay Resort's exclusive, members-only course, is a Jack Nicklaus Signature designed 18-hole layout. The Par 72 course boasts some of the most stunning scenery in Texas and is considered by many to be the Golden Bear's best work. Summit Rock has earned many accolades including Golfweek's Top 100 Resort Courses in America (#61). Nicklaus said each hole of Summit Rock is a "Signature Hole" as he blended the course layout through the scenic topography and stands of Texas Live Oaks. Holes one and two play through a wide-open, level-playing area and afterward players are rewarded with a 30-mile Hill Country view from the elevated tee box at the famed 3rd hole. There are many elevated tee boxes with spectacular views through holes 4-12 before heading down the scenic ridgeline on hole 13. Most of the greens are large, raised and guarded with slope and undulations that will challenge any putter reads. Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Sr., today Slick Rock's 170 acres stands in the best condition since its opening, following a complete 2016 renovation. In partnership with the Robert Trent Jones II team and Larson Golf Services, new life has been breathed into this classic, award-winning gem with renovations to its greens and bunkers, the installation of new green collars and an upgrade of the irrigation system. Its 70+ bunkers and 12 water hazards invite players to experience one of Texas' top courses. Wandering through a landscape of Texas granite outcroppings, pampas grass and native oak, willow and Eldarica pine trees, the most memorable feature of the course has to be the awe-inspiring "Million Dollar Hole," where players follow a winding path across a 35-yard waterfall. Tee off and photograph this one-of-a-kind experience for yourself. Famously known as the "Challenger," this Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design features narrow fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and a demanding island green par 3 hole (No. 4). Native landscaping, rugged natural rock outcroppings and the Texas Hill Country views add to its designation as one of the "Top 15 Courses in the State" according to GolfWeek magazine. Scratch players enjoy the challenge of its 62 deep bunkers, 10 water hazards and natural dry creeks surrounding its Crenshaw Bentgrass greens and Bermuda fairways. Debuting in 1981, Ram Rock has earned respect for its challenging layout and championship test of golf. It's hosted the Texas State Open along with several USGA qualifying events and other professional tournaments, and has been recognized as one of the world's most outstanding golf courses by numerous publications and golf journals. Designed by legendary golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Apple Rock is touted as one of the most scenic and breathtaking championship golf courses in Texas. Spanning 147 acres, Jones, Sr. used some of the highest, most picturesque land in Horseshoe Bay for the Apple Rock layout. The 18-hole, Par 72 course begins in high, rocky terrain and finishes along the shoreline of Lake LBJ, boasting dramatic elevation changes, high-quality Bermuda fairways, and Bentgrass greens that offer faster and truer putting surfaces. Upon opening in 1985, Apple Rock was named among the Best New Resort Courses in America by Golf Digest, and has hosted the Texas State Open, USGA Qualifying events and other regional professional tournaments. With more than 50 bunkers, and water coming into play on seven holes, it creates a welcome challenge for even the most skilled players. Whitewater Putting Course Tee off steps from Whitewater 360 Sports Club at our unique zoysia grass putting course. This role is designed for a proven hospitality leader with experience in upscale dining, multi-outlet operations, and building high-performing teams. Lead the Yacht Club Restaurant at a premier lakefront resort, overseeing dynamic dining and bar operations in an upscale yet relaxed setting. This role drives exceptional guest experiences, team development, and revenue performance while managing day-to-day restaurant, lounge, and event operations. Ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about hospitality, service excellence, and creating memorable experiences in a high-energy resort environment.

As the business leader of the Yacht Club, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, elevating the guest experience, and shaping the food, beverage, and service strategy within one of the resort’s most visible and dynamic venues.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership

Own full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability

Candidate Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Food Handler’s Certificate, TABC Certification, and TIPS required
Valid driver’s license
5+ years of progressive food & beverage leadership experience
Proven success managing high-volume or upscale dining operations
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and inventory control
Proficiency in POS systems (Agilysys preferred) and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Desired)

Experience as a General Manager or senior leader in upscale, luxury, or fine dining environments
Demonstrated success in:
- Opening, repositioning, or evolving restaurant concepts
- Driving revenue growth and improving profitability
- Building or managing wine and beverage programs
Background in multi-outlet operations, including restaurant, bar, and events
Advanced knowledge of wine, spirits, and guest experience trends
Experience leading teams of 30+ employees
Multilingual capabilities are a plus
