Duties shall include, but are not limited to:
Assist with the day-to-day operation of the food and beverage team.
Work within the food & beverage team completing all tasks to the highest level and providing a consistently exceptional experience.
Display and uphold a graceful and proactive table service by emphasising service sequence and core standards. Ensure the prompt and efficient service of all meals, snacks, beverage and functions to the required standards.
Receive food and beverage reservations and coordinate dining room set-up based on anticipated dining counts and requirements.
Provide skilled, efficient and knowledgeable bartending and wine service.
Pay close attention to, utilise and record members / regular guests food and beverage
preferences to enhance the member’s experience and exceed their expectations.
Ensure the clubhouse dining areas are clean, correctly maintained and stocked with the stipulated requirements and that table appointments and buffet set-ups are impeccable, maintaining presentation and flow.
Ensure that all back of house and preparation work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas are completed according to schedule.
Assist in monthly stocktakes for food, beverage and equipment.
Assist in submitting reports on time, including end of shift comments and guest reports.
Adhere to all statutory requirements regarding food and beverage operation and the club’s liquor licences, and ensure that all liquor licence conditions are complied with.
A minimum of two years experience in a club or a high-end, luxury service industry.
Intermediate level of computer literacy - Microsoft Word, Excell, Outlook.
Barista, cocktail and wine knowledge.

Superb guest service and teamwork;
Ability to analyse and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
A positive, “can-do” attitude, and a hands-on operator who is proactive, reliable and
hardworking.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the travel and hospitality industry; and
Full understanding of required sequence and standards for a high end operation.
