Director of Racquets

Brief Job Description

The Amarillo Country Club is seeking a new Director of Raquets, who will have a unique opportunity to initiate growth and build a Member centric raquet program. The successful candidate must be patient, passionate and can easily communicate with young and senior.The ideal candidate values must align with the values and culture of the ACC Membership and the Club. The DOR will be someone who provides great leadership and direction to staff, has the ability to grow engagement and usage of the Raquet's facilities, and leads with a high level of visibility and availability to Members and staff.

 

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive management experience in the private Club industry prefered. The ideal candidate must possess accountability, integrity, exceptional financial and budgeting acumen A history of successfully working with a Board of Directors as well as the energy/passion  to interact with the Membership on a professional and hospitable level. The candidate must have a proven record of strong operational management skills, and impeccable attention to detail and a proven history of providing outstanding Member experiences.

The general roles and resposibilities of the DOR will be to deliver a range of services customarily povided by a PTR Professional or Elite USPTA Professional, with certification a requirement. assure a consistent, efficient, and seamless daily operation of club-wide raquest raquets operation and provide Members and guests with an environment that meets the values of the Club.

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate should be an engaging and polished professional with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience a a Director of Raquets or a Head Tennis Professional preferably in a private country club. Should have a College degree and ideally hold certifications with USPTA/PTR/PPR/PPTR/PPTA. Must possess credible pickleball and tennis skills, 4.5+ or higher.
