Special Club Features

Small dining club in central Ohio. Rocky Fork's clubhouse is modeled after an English county cottage.  The club is set on 175 acres of forest. The clubhouse is 1/4 mile from the road and the members are some of the wealthiest people in the country and state. The membership and management place a high emphasis on service, quality,  and tradition. 

Club is open 6 days per week, 12 months per year.

Brief Job Description

The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for the club’s front-of-the-house dining services including bar management.  The Food and Beverage Director is also responsible for the execution and staffing of all catered events both on and off the property.   Other than private events, these events may include club-sponsored events such as wine tastings and dinners, holiday parties, and other special events.  Directly supervises and leads a team in the management of all other outlets such as snack bars, lifeguards, and all front of the house and pool employees.  The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for the training, scheduling, and hiring of all front-of-the-house staff. The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for attaining budgeted goals while ensuring all members and guests receive the highest level of quality food and service. 

The Food and Beverage Director will work closely with the Executive Chef and Clubhouse Director for many club functions and member relations. 

Candidate Qualifications

To perform the job of Clubhouse Director successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and recipes. Must possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to speak and communicate effectively before groups of members or employees of the club.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Computer Skills/IT

Must be proficient in the operations of a computer, laptop, and tablet. Must have the ability to create documents in Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Must have the understanding and common use of electronic mail.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Rocky Fork Hunt and Country Club was built in the early 20th century. The characteristics of the Clubhouse are unique to Rocky Fork.

Educational Requirements

Education and/or Experience Preferred but not limited to:

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and or,

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year accredited college or university and or,

Five to ten years related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
