Southampton Bath and Tennis offers both formal and non-formal Dining in The Main Dining Room. Lunch is served six days a week, dinner is served four nights a week, and breakfast is served on weekends. Our menus change daily in order to be able to include the freshest ingredients available. In addition to daily dining, the Club hosts a variety of social dining events.

Special Club Features

Southampton Bath and Tennis Club is a prestigious private club situated on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean in The Hamptons. The club offers it’s members and their families a full range of social and recreational amenities. SBT features both elegant and casual dining facilities with a variety of menus that change throughout the season. We are open for lunch six day a week, dinner for four nights a week, and breakfast on the weekends. In addition to our dining facilities, Southampton Bath and Tennis also has six har-tru tennis courts, a heated outdoor pool, private access to the beach, and a kid’s summer camp. The club also hosts a variety of annual events such as its spectacular 4th of July BBQ, themed Beach Party, Wine Dinner, The Author’s Luncheon, and multiple cocktail parties and socials.   

Club is open 7 days per week, 5 months per year.

Brief Job Description

The Dining Room Supervisor Intern will be responsible for overseeing the successful operations of the Dining Room and the wait staff. The intern will ensure quality service by providing the highest level of member and guest dining satisfaction. He or she will act as supervisor on duty as needed and be able to direct and help the staff prior to, throughout and after service. The person who take this position will also work to make special events a success, assist the management team will training, scheduling, ordering, member billing and strategic planning.

Candidate Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one-year food and beverage service experience within a hospitality environment. 
  • Must have ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong desire to work both the operational as well as administrative sides of the Dining Room is necessary.
  • Must be highly motivated and a quick learner.

Educational Requirements

Must be pursuing a degree in hospitality and business management or a related field. 

Date Position Available

Mid-May through Labor Day weekend
