Brief Job Description

Communications Intern

Kenwood Country Club’s Communications Intern will work closely with the Director of Communications, Communications Specialist, and social media & Digital Content Coordinator during the summer season of May though August. This position has the opportunity to gain insight into the marketing and communications field in a fun, exclusive country club environment.



 






 

 

Candidate Qualifications

Available to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings
Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
Experience with various social media platforms
Experience with graphic design is a plus

Help tell the story of Kenwood Country Club through photos, video and text. Capture content around the Club and at Club events to be used for social media and Member-facing matter. Design graphics, advertisements, marketing collateral, and publicationsWrite email communications and website verbiageExperience managing web content in a content management system (CMS)

Educational Requirements

Major in a communications, marketing, hospitality or related field

Housing

Furnished apartments (single gender) near the club are available and are located closing to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment districts. The intern will be responsible for a refunable $200 security deposit and a $150 rental fee per weekly pay period. The rental fee includes major utilities, but cable, telephone, and internet service are the responsibility of the interns.
