More than just a golf club, Eagle Oaks is a member’s home away from home. Golf members will appreciate the Johnny Miller/Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, heated bays, state of the art driving range, while social and sport members can take advantage of our Har-Tru tennis courts, pickleball courts and aquatics center with three saline pools & private cabanas.

Award-winning dining facilities including a private upscale steakhouse as well as a casual dining room, in season tiki bar & grille, private cigar lounge, outdoor patio with grille overlooking the golf course and  year-round invitations to the many family-friendly events (as well as adults-only gatherings), and on-site overnight accommodations are just a few of the luxurious amenities provided at Eagle Oaks.

Eagle Oaks also offers a dining membership that entitles members to utilize all dining venues and attend all member events.

Food & Beverage Manager

Brief Job Description

Responsible for management of members dining venues in the manner most pleasing to members and their guests. Assures a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining areas. Supervises and trains dining staff.

  • Schedules personnel and plans room set-up based upon anticipated guest counts and client needs
  • Takes reservations and checks table reservation schedules
  • Greets and seats members and guests
  • Carefully supervises to help assure proper service; pours coffee and takes orders when necessary
  • Inspects dining room employees to ensure that they are always in proper and clean uniforms
  • Hires, trains and supervises dining room staff
  • Provides appropriate reports concerning employee hours, schedules, pay rates, job changes, tip pools, etc.
  • Receives and handles complaints concerning food, beverages or service
  • Serves as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staffs
  • Assures that all side work is accomplished, and all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule
  • Directs pre-meal meetings with dining room personnel. Relays information and policy changes and briefs personnel
  • Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness and proper set-up of the dining rooms. Checks the maintenance of all equipment in the dining room and reports deficiencies
  • Makes suggestions about improvements in dining room procedures and layout
  • Assures that the dining room and other club areas are secure at the end of the business day
  • Keeps an inventory of dining room items including silverware, coffee pots, water pitchers, salt and pepper holders and sugar bowls
  • Develops and maintains the guest dining room reservation system
  • Develops and supervises sales income control system

Candidate Qualifications

  • A minimum 2 years of experience as a Dining Room  supervisor/manager
  • Strong background in fine dining service training programs. 
  • A natural leader leading a strong professional team.
  • A high energy professional with proven experience working in a fast-paced, high volume, high-end food & beverage setting. 
  • Naturally outgoing, conversant, respectful, and diplomatic in matters of guest service and the handling of staff issues.
  • The ability to work closely with other departments, as necessary.
  • Superior communication skills.
