The Club offers a Donald Ross signature golf course, multiple dining outlets, an expansive ballroom, pickleball and tennis courts, a resort style pool complex, a fitness center and indoor Trackman Simulators. Job Description
Candidates will be primarily focused in Food and Beverage operations with the following hands on and in-depth rotations:
A la Carte: Interns will be trained in all positions within the dining rooms including host, server, bartender and food runner. Interns will progressively work towards floor supervising and will assist management with day-to-day F&B operations.
Events and Banquets: Interns will experience event management and planning with the Events department as well as learn how to execute events from the Banquet department including golf tournaments and outings, weddings, specialty dinners, and summer holiday events. Interns will run at least one event from start to finish as the manager on duty.
Pool Operations: Working towards assisting with supervision at the pool, interns will be trained in all F&B roles at the pool including server, bartender, POS operator and food runner.
In addition to the time spent in the Food and Beverage department, interns will also spend time learning about the following departments: Culinary, Golf, Tennis, Accounting and Membership & Marketing. Throughout the summer interns will also participate in professional development opportunities.
Candidate Qualifications
Our ideal candidate is a current hospitality student, someone with a similar major or a recent graduate with a desire to provide exceptional service. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and a willingness to develop their knowledge and skills within the Club industry. Previous hospitality experience is preferred but individuals with an eagerness to learn and previous professional experience will be considered. As a member of our team we ask that you be ready to assist in various roles without hesitation and that you show up to work each day with the goal of being the best version of yourself.
