The Assistant Restaurant Manager is primarily responsible for a la carte dining operations in the Red Fox Pub, Patio, Card Room, and special events outside these areas. An area of concentration will be to manage our special events. This area of responsibility is the equivalent of running a high-volume, full-service casual and fine dining restaurant with the addition of member recognition (learning and using all members' names) and providing complimentary tea, coffee, and ice to members. The Assistant Manager's goal is to ensure every member who comes through these areas is greeted and made to feel welcome every visit and thanked upon leaving every time. Also, this position requires wine and food knowledge for ordering, suggestive selling, training, stocking, inventory, and updating menus/beverage lists used in the Red Fox Pub and additional dining areas.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in culinary, hospitality, business, or any other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
