Brief Job Description

At the Country Club of Landfall, we have crafted a six and twelve-month Internship Program dedicated to developing the next generation of club executives. The Blue Blazers Internship Program at the Country Club of Landfall is an in-depth and hands-on experience tailored to meet the needs and interests of participants in order to best prepare them for a career in club or hospitality management. Throughout the program, interns will be exposed to every aspect of Club operations. They will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with our General Manager/CEO, Jessi Reutter; Assistant General Manager, Justin Waffle; F&B Service Director, Brooke Garner; and Training and Engagement Coordinator, Hillary Phillips. Interns will participate in meetings, workshops, and hands-on training, preparing them for a career in club or hospitality management. Exposure to each aspect of the Club will allow participants to develop and hone their skills in areas of particular interest to them. At the end of the Blue Blazer Program, there will be a showcase of the skills you have gained in the form of an event planned and executed by interns only. Should you become a Blue Blazer, you will gain invaluable experience and knowledge of this industry as well as tangible materials to help you begin your career. Within the Blue Blazer Internship Program, we have created an executive training curriculum providing you with an unparalleled opportunity to gain professional leadership training & experience. This Executive Training is designed to introduce you to every aspect of the Country Club of Landfall with exclusive access to each member of the Executive Team. You will have the opportunity to explore various departments, understand the integral connection between departments, and explore your role as a leader within the club industry. Candidate Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For: Fun, enthusiastic team players that are determined to succeed in the hospitality industry. Individuals who are open to coaching for continuous personal and professional development. Effective communicators that are dedicated to enhancing the Member experience. Individuals with integrity who value accountability and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Individuals must be enrolled in a four-year hospitality program or a recent graduate. 

Educational Requirements

The Country Club of Landfall will make every effort to accommodate college or university requirements for school/internship credit. Please check with your school to learn the specific requirements in order for your credit to be honored.

Other Benefits

Interns will be paid hourly and can anticipate working 40 hours per week. Depending on availability, the Country Club of Landfall will provide housing for those coming from out of the area. Rent will be deducted from each paycheck and will vary depending on the term lease. You will be responsible for reliable means of transportation to the club.
