Hermitage Country Club is a large Club operation that has experienced immense growth over the last several years. With well over 1,200 members, 36 holes of championship level golf, as well as a full campus of other amenities, Hermitage is poised to continue its recent success. Hermitage has recently implemented a waitlist for full golfing members, that is filling at a rapid pace. As the Club has grown over the last three years, so too has it’s organizational chart, and as such, the new Assistant Food and Beverage Manager should be ready to lead a large team of passionate and dedicated individuals of more than 75 during full season.

Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Job Description
Hermitage Country Club is seeking an energetic, outgoing Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Food & Beverage. Management of dining room service and banquet service in the manner most pleasing to members and their guests. Assures a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of both the dining room and events. Supervises and assists with training of food & beverage staff. Manages within budgetary restraints. Develops and implements programs to increase revenues (repeat business and higher check averages). This individual will ensure that all staff has a positive and friendly attitude aligning with our club culture.
Candidate Qualifications
Must have a ‘service attitude’, and knowledge of Fine Dining trends and execution is critical for success in this role.
Be a leader and have the ability to coach the team
Have basic wine knowledge
Exhibit excellent communication skills as well as ability to articulate knowledge of front of the house operations in a club or fine dining restaurant
Be able to have fun while providing top-notch service
Educational Requirements
Experience in the private club industry is a plus but not required.
Have a proven track record and work experience as a Dining Room Manager or Restaurant Manager for a minimum of 3 years with progressively increasing responsibilities over ones career.
