Job Title
Assistant Controller
Brief Job Description
We are seeking an assistant controller to support the controller by performing accounting duties including AP/AP, general accounting, assisting with budgeting, month-end close, and generation of reports. The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Department Heads, and other members of the accounting staff to establish proper procedures and timelines for financial processes and reporting.
Candidate Qualifications
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite)
· Experience with accounting software is required (Jonas is a plus)
· Demonstrated ability to problem solve using good judgement
· Excellent organizational skills; detailed oriented
· Able to prioritize conflicting demands quickly and appropriately
· Excellent communication skills
· Prior Homeowners Association experience is a plus
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent
