Special Club Features

An exclusive City/Athletic Club positioned on the east end of Pittsburgh surrouned by five universities, established in 1896.  The golf course was transfered over to the City of Pittsburgh in 1914.  TPGC is a very active member only driven Club that has been transitioning into a much younger membership during the past five years.  Club members typically spend a lot of time at this Club whether it be for tennis, squash, fitness, or dining.  The Club is presently working on a long range plan to construct new pool, dining, pickle ball courts, and squash courts.  Anticipated start date is June 15 of 2023.

Club is open 7 days per week, 12 months per year.

Dining Service Manager

Brief Job Description

The Dining Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality dining experiences for customers. Key job tasks include designing floor plans, managing reservations, supervising, and training staff, monitoring budgets, and developing revenue-generating programs. The Manager will also ensure the appearance and safety of dining areas, inventory dining service items, develop policies and procedures for service staff, and coordinate with the Executive Chef to update menus and wine lists. Other duties include monitoring compliance with alcohol service policies and performing other assignments as required by the F&B Director.  This is a highly visable postion.  

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum of four years private Club employment in the food and beverage area of the Club.  

Educational Requirements

Requires a four year college degree, preferrably with a concentration in hospitality management but not required.

$45,000.00 to $54,999.00

Benifits include, health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, eye and dental insurance, and a 401K program.  All other benifits customary to the Private Club industry.
