Special Club Features

Established in 1992, Atlantic is a traditional golf club, located in the exclusive "Hamptons" community on the east end of Long Island. The Metropolitan Golf Writers Association named Atlantic Club of the Year "for upholding the spirit and traditions of golf through consistent and energetic support and dedication to the game." Atlantic's commitment to excellence extends to every facet of the operation; from the course, to the membership and to the staff, many of which have been with the club since it first opened. Atlantic prides itself on being an exclusive golf club with a comfortable and friendly ambiance.

A small club with a membership of 180, the focus is on exceptional service for our members and guests. The Clubhouse offers a casual dining atmosphere indoors, on the patio, or in the Tap Room. A local magazine rated Atlantic's lunch "the best in the Hamptons." We are proud of our Platinum Club of America designation.

Dining Room Manager

Brief Job Description

The Dining Room Manager is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of member dining. This person plays a pivotal role in defining, leading, and delivering an exceptional hospitality experience for our members and guests.

Leadership - create a culture of teamwork and enthusiastically motivate the team.
Training - understand the importance of training on a daily, weekly, and monthly training. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities with a focus on service excellence.
Emotional Intelligence - build and nurture strong relationships with members and staff actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns
Technology - work with Assistant General Manager to develop and supervise POS system (Jonas); and ensure accurate ordering and inventory of beverages, liquor, and supplies. Scheduling of all F&B staff. Proficient in Excel, Word, Jonas.
Communication - direct pre-shift meetings ensuring that accurate information and team goals are relayed to the service staff. Work with the Culinary Team to plan and implement outing and event set up
Attitude - Bring a sense of fun and positive energy to the club. We are looking for an "enthusiastic coach" and servant leader.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidate should have at least 2+ years experience in a leadership role in a private club or upscale dining establishment.

Food Service Skills - An extensive knowledge of food and beverage service standards and wine knowledge.
Management Skills - Strong work ethic and a willingness to lead by example. Planning, problem-solving, communication, delegation, time management, organization.
Supervisory Skills - Dedication to hospitality excellence. Communication, leadership, conflict resolution, motivation, interpersonal skills.
Customer Service - Willing to go the extra mile, professionalism, positive attitude.
Engaged Learner - We are willing to train a young leader but need a dedicated and engaged individual.

Educational Requirements

Candidates with a hospitality degree or similar experience preferred.

Salary Range: $58,000 to $68,000
