Special Club Features

RIO VERDE COUNTRY CLUB

In the foothills of the McDowell Mountains and along the edge of the Tonto National Forest, Rio Verde Country Club is the centerpiece of Rio Verde’s active adult community. Tom Lehman-designed golf courses Quail Run and White Wing comprise Rio Verde’s 36 holes of walkable, parkland style golf. Rio Verde’s Quail Run course opened in 1973 and was originally designed by Milt Coggins. The White Wing course debuted in 1983 and was a Greg Nash and Jeff Hardin design. In 2007 and 2008, The Lehman Design Group completely redesigned and modernized Quail Run and White Wing. Quail Run now plays to a par of 72 and can be played from 4,806 to 6,602 yards. White Wing is a par 71 layout and ranges from 4,672 to 6,535 yards.

The area’s restaurant dining experience features the elegant and casual Box Bar Grille; and the quintessential après golf venue, The Verde Pub, offering made-to-order wood fired pizzas, wings, salads and sandwiches. Both outlets are served by Rio Verde’s renowned culinary team as part of the recently remodeled, 27,000 square foot clubhouse, also boasting two patios, event spaces, and magnificent Southwestern vistas in every direction.

The Rio Verde golf community is a gorgeous oasis, perfect for your active adult lifestyle, with tennis and pickleball courts, an art studio, fitness center, community church, library, hiking trails, biking and more.

Club is open 7 days per week, 12 months per year.
