Special Club Features

Since 2014, the Club has been recognized as a Platinum Club of America, the Club's amenities include two championship Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses; a Fitness & Wellness Center with seven synthetic clay courts, a well-equipped fitness center and professionally staffed Spa; and one of the finest Equestrian facilities in the Southwest. It is the only exclusive country club of its kind in New Mexico. The Hacienda Clubhouse offers casual and fine dining and is an exceptional venue for the Club’s multifaceted cultural, educational, artistic and musical program offerings. Private club membership is by invitation only. There is no residence requirement to become a member at The Club at Las Campanas.

Assistant Clubhouse Manager

Brief Job Description

Works closely with the Clubhouse Manager and the General Manager. Responsible for operation of all aspects of the Clubhouse operation in the absence of the Clubhouse Manager and performs specific tasks as requested by him/her. Responsible for the general operation of staff functions related to the Clubhouse. Supervises the work of the Dining Captains, Bartenders, Backservers and Host/Hostesses. Sits in on the House Committee. Supports all aspects of Private Parties and Club functions. 

Candidate Qualifications

  1. Must have excellent written and interpersonal skills to deal with employees, club members, guests, and outside professionals. 
  2. Possess excellent analytical and financial skills to develop and monitor budgets, and customer service skills to attract and retain members.
  3. Familiar with the practical and financial aspects of managing country club facilities including food and beverage operations.
  4. Must be positive, organized, consistent, detail oriented, hands on, and a self-motivated leader.
  5.  Have proven leadership skills to bring together a professional and skilled staff into one cohesive unit.

 

 

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Golf or Hospitality management, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant management, Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one to three years of experience in a traditional, high end club environment, upscale hotel or restaurant is preferred. 
  • A degree in hospitality management and working toward the CCM designation is a plus.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, mentoring and developing high achieving team members.
  • Financial, budgeting and forecasting experience and knowledge of current HR laws and regulations.
