Belmont Country Club is known for its quality of golf at affordable prices. Whether you're a single golfer or a family of eight, Belmont Country Club fits the needs of every golfer. With an abundance of trees and water, this 18 hole championship golf course is one of the more challenging in the valley. Our unique to the Central Valley Champion Bermuda Greens give a short-game experience unlike any other. Our course is well-maintained, narrow and well guarded, with medium size greens, menacing bunkers and lots of trees. It's a good test of decision making, iron play and your short game.

Event Coordinator

Brief Job Description

Helps member clients arrange banquets, luncheons, meetings, weddings, dances and other social events; obtains pertinent information needed for guest planning
Plans/coordinates/advertises all member social events
Provides guest tours and offers suggestions in efforts to sell the club’s facilities for the occasion being planned
Works with the Chef to determine selling prices, menus, and other details for catered events; oversees the development of contracts
Suggests and helps guests plan menus in conjunction with the Chef and/or other culinary personnel
Coordinates/provide event planning with Department Heads and arranges for printing of menus, procuring of decorations, entertainment, and other special requests, etc.
Inspects finished arrangements; be present to oversee the actual greeting and serving of guests
Checks function sheets against actual room set-up; oversees personnel scheduling for special functions and may help supervise service personnel
Oversees scheduling of food and beverage service employee meetings
Maintains past and potential client files; schedules calls/visits to assess on-going needs of prospective clients for catering services
Helps develop catering budgets; reviews financial reports and takes corrective actions as appropriate to help assure that budget goals are met
Arranges prompt payment for all events
Critiques functions to determine future needs and to implement necessary changes for increased quality
Tracks new products and trends in food service and catering applicable to the club

Candidate Qualifications

Events management: 1 year
Customer service: 1 year
Excellent people and communication skills.
Demonstrated outstanding customer service.
Must possess willingness to learn and perform new food & beverage programs and services. Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
