The mission of Big Easy Ranch is to provide its members and guests with an exceptional and memorable sporting, hunting and dining experience. From the knowledgeable hunting staff, the professional golf instructors to our fine team of culinary experts, the highest level of service is provided in every area of the ranch. We offer many unique outdoor opportunities that include upland bird hunting, big game hunting, sporting clays and five stand clays course as well as a pistal and rifle range. Position: Food and Beverage Manager

Job Summary:
Successful candidates will be able to confidently ensure the level of service and products to our members and guests is memorable. Will participate in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and facilities maintenance in all club facilities especially in all F&B outlets that are maintained across our 2000-acre private club. The selected individual will ensure the proper procedures for the accounting of sales, labor and expense management is adhered to as well as general club operations management standards are practiced consistently. Provides continuous training and leadership for team members and seeks out learning opportunities so they are also continually learning and developing.
This is a F&B management opportunity. The heartbeat of any club is the F&B operation. This person will be an effective member of the clubs F&B leadership team. There is room for career advancement for a driven individual. The ideal candidate will be a career-minded professional who is on the path to becoming a professional club manager. The leadership team is a highly skilled team of club professionals that will mentor you to be successful in the private club management profession. This is a great opportunity for a club professional who has two-three years of Private Club F&B experience.
Compensation
Compensation will include a competitive salary and standard benefits package to include meals, medical insurance benefits, life insurance, paid vacation, Sick pay, and select educational opportunities.
A little about us
Columbus, TX is located an hour and a half west of Houston and an hour and a half East of Austin, about 87 miles either direction. We are a private club, with an amazing 27 holes of championship golf, Chet Williams designed both our 18 hole course called the Covey and our 9 hole par three course called the Antler, multiple dinging outlets across our property, trophy bass fishing program across 12 managed and stocked lakes, seasonal trout fishing in the winter, hiking trails, World Class Sporting Clays and a Five Stand clay shooting range set up and managed by Texas State Champion and World Champion Clay Shooter, Cory Kruse. Additional shooting sports include a two-story covered rifle range out to 700 yards, pistol range, well-appointed golf and hunting pro shops. Seasonal upland pheasant, chuckar, mallard duck and quail hunting operation along with white tail deer, red stag, fallow deer, axis deer and several other exotic big game species hunting. A world class Wine Spectator Award of Merit wine program with three sommeliers on site. If you would enjoy working in a world class organization this could be a great opportunity for you.
Our members conduct many corporate retreats at the club. We have 36 luxurious sleeping rooms in various cottages and estate style homes with 28 more rooms under construction. Our main lodge is open seven days a week for three meals daily. A beautiful lakeside zero entry pool and whirlpool spa, lakeside beach and bar restaurant, we have multiple outdoor fireplaces, these are a great amenity that our members consistently enjoy. The three-story luxurious “Eagles Nest” (turn house) is under construction, and we will open this new outlet in September. The Eagles nest has two dining areas, an elevator, a three-sided observation deck that is perched 90 feet on a bluff above the golf course and is surrounded by two well-appointed patios and a 10,000 square foot putting green for our members enjoyment.

A combination of 2 years of upscale hospitality experience in a private club or top tier resort is desired. Minimum of an associate degree, a bachelor’s degree preferred.
We pay a competitive salary, dependent upon your skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications and professional experience. In addition to the base pay, Big Easy Ranch also offers full-time employees paid vacation days, sick days, healthcare benefits, life insurance and one meal provided per day.
