Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Membership to oversee all aspects of membership orientations, retention, and satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our club by strategically managing membership initiatives and fostering a sense of belonging among our current and prospective members. Key Responsibilities:
Membership Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to engage, orient and retain members in alignment with the club's objectives and values.
Member Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with current members to enhance satisfaction and promote member advocacy.
Waitlist Management: Strategically manage the waitlist to ensure fairness, transparency, and timely communication with waitlisted individuals.
Member Services: Oversee the delivery of exceptional member services across all touchpoints, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including operations and finance, to support membership-related initiatives and enhance overall club offerings.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track membership trends, assess membership satisfaction, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and club policies pertaining to membership operations and privacy.
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in membership management, preferably within a private club or hospitality industry.
Proven track record of success in membership acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative membership initiatives.
Proficiency in membership management software and data analytics tools.
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field.
