Events Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and professional Events Coordinator to oversee and enhance our club's event offerings. This role involves coordinating weddings, business meetings, social gatherings, and club-sponsored activities. The successful candidate will manage event planning from conception through execution, ensuring memorable experiences that meet both aesthetic and functional standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with members and clients to plan and execute events.
- Manage event details such as decor, menu selection, entertainment, and staffing.
- Conduct site visits and present facilities to potential clients.
- Coordinate with chefs and other department heads to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a calendar of events, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws, client satisfaction, and club standards.
- Develop and manage event budgets, seeking opportunities to optimize expenditure.
- Foster relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to benefit the club.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in event management or related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for customer service.
- Proficiency in [specific software tools if applicable], and general technology for event management.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
