Food & Beverage Director

Brief Job Description

The Food and Beverage Director at our prestigious country club will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club's dining and beverage operations. This includes managing the kitchen, dining room, bar, and catering services to ensure exceptional service and quality offerings for our members and guests.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the club's food and beverage offerings

- Manage and lead a team of kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and catering personnel

- Create and maintain menus that reflect seasonal and local ingredients, as well as cater to member preferences and dietary restrictions

- Monitor food and beverage costs and work to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area

- Collaborate with event planners to coordinate and execute special events, weddings, and other catering functions

- Foster positive relationships with members, guests, and vendors to enhance the club's reputation and customer satisfaction

- Stay current on industry trends and innovations to continually improve the club's food and beverage offerings

This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. The Food and Beverage Director will report directly to the General Manager/COO and work closely with other department heads to ensure a cohesive and exceptional member experience. Candidate Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a high-end dining establishment or country club setting

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management

- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, culinary techniques, and industry best practices

- ServSafe certification and other relevant food safety certifications
