Exceptional opportunities are available for highly-engaged students with a passion for excellence in club management at one of the country’s premier family-oriented country clubs. Founded in 1889, The Country Club is located outside of Cleveland, Ohio, in the attractive suburb of Pepper Pike. We are a nationally recognized Platinum Club and have a long tradition of excellence that continues today.
The Club’s golf course is a highly regarded William Flynn design and has played a part in many important golf events, including the 1935 US Amateur Championship won by Lawson Little and the 2012 US Women’s Amateur Championship, won by Lydia Ko. Our sports facilities include the 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, paddle tennis, pickleball, fitness center and skeet range.
The Club completed a significant clubhouse renovation in 2016/2017 that included a new pool, an outdoor three-season bar, and dining area. And more recently, a major Clubhouse restoration is projected to be finished by the Spring of 2025. Country hosts one of the nation's finest paddle facilities. The Racquet House is home to four brand new paddle tennis courts, two brand new pickleball courts, a large viewing deck with firepit, a full contemporary gathering area and a full-service pro-shop. The William Flynn designed golf course is the centerpiece of Country; the course has undergone a full 18-hole golf course renovation by Gil Hanse that opened to play beginning on Memorial Day weekend of 2023. Its par 72 layout is just over 7,000 yards from the tips and provides an outstanding test of golf abilities. The beautiful use of the natural land, a thoughtful routing, wide fairways, landform greens and strategic bunkers all combine to make Country one of Flynn’s finest works!
