Myers Park Country Club is located in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina and is one of the premier clubs in the city. The club has received the honors of being a premier Club both in America and abroad. Myers Park Country Club serves over 2000 families with the majority living less than two miles from the Club. The clubhouse is approximately 68,000 square feet and has recently completed a $28 million clubhouse renovation.

The Club is open for dining throughout the year (some operating seasonally or weather permitting), with a wide variety of options available to members and their guests. The multiple dining options include the upscale Byron Nelson Dining Room, Adults-only Donald Ross Bar, Tavern 21, Oakwood Cafe family dining, Men’s Lounge, and adjoining outside dining venues. The Club hosts a number of large and personalized events, special occasions, and activities as part of its over $4.0M food and beverage operation. The Club is well known for its service and culinary operation along with an array of amenities including highly regarded golf, tennis, fitness, and pool operations.

Hospitality Rotational Intern

Job Description

Do you want to work in the hospitality industry? Does learning the inner workings of a private club pique your interest? How much would that interest increase knowing you get to live for free right next to the property? Myers Park Country Club fosters growth in students regarding all aspects of the private club industry - food & beverage, golf, grounds maintenance, accounting, fitness, tennis, and more. We have designed our intern program so that the bulk of the work deals primarily in our food & beverage service department, with scheduled rotations in each of our other departments. Come check us out! Position is available to start from May – August 2025.

Job training includes:

Food & Beverage service in pool, dining room, and banquet operations
Providing exceptional service to membership while resolving complaints and displaying effective service recovery tactics
Participating in various managerial tasks including scheduling, ordering, payroll, training, etc.
Hands-on experience in all departments including events, human resources, accounting, agronomy, golf, tennis, and maintenance
Completing season-end internship project to present to Club employees
