Job Description

In this position, you will rotate among departments for 7-8 weeks.    You will gain experience in these areas:

Describe the Educational Programing

Front of the House roundsperson
Kitchen Menu development
Club Communications/Promotions Website and Marketing
Information Technology
Property Management
Human Resources
Accounting Management
Tennis/Proshop management/inventory controls
Grounds Maintenance management

Responsibilities include:

  • Using North Star to place orders, book reservations, make system changes, and print financial reports.
  • Update Menu’s using Canva.
  • Train on how to write a BEO, then update BEOs as needed. 
  • Participate in Club training and service needs as assigned.
  • Participate in the inventory of liquor and Pro Shop merchandise. 
  • Attend community association meetings to learn about the role of a Community Association Manager.
  • Take work orders and understand the differences between Association and Master Association needs and responsibilities. 
  • Assist with updating the employee manual. 
  • Assist IT Manager with troubleshooting issues. 
  • Participate in strategic meetings.

Candidate Qualifications

We are looking for students in their Junior or Senior year of College studying Business or Hospitality.    

Educational Requirements

Must have completed 2 years of college in the Business or Hospitality field.

Other Benefits

The entire cost is covered at an apartment with a private bedroom and bath.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $15.00.  

The intern will need their own transportation.
