With well over 1,200 members, 36 holes of championship level golf, as well as a full campus of other amenities, Hermitage is poised to continue its recent success. Hermitage has recently implemented a waitlist for full golfing members, that is filling at a rapid pace. Job Description
Hermitage Country Club is looking for an energetic, passionate, and self-motivated individual that can take the already established Food and Beverage department to the next level. The Food and Beverage Director will be responsible for managing daily food and beverage operations, including all dining outlets, banquets, Wine Club, east kitchen and Stormy Side Grille. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan, manage department budgets, and hire and train staff. This individual will lead the charge with creating and improving member service standards, training staff, and ultimately delivering excellent member experience.
The Food and Beverage Director will have a highly visible presence with the membership and must be an excellent communicator, have superb people skills, and be successful in communicating expectations to a diverse staff while motivating them to their full potential.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidate will be highly motivated, passionate, organized, detail oriented, and able to delegate so maximize time and staff. Candidate must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, enthusiasm for delivering hospitality excellence creating WOW moments for members and their guests. Astute financial acumen, knowledge of wine and culinary techniques with extensive food and beverage management experience is desired.
Educational Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred with a focus on Hospitality Management.
- In lieu of the degree, substantial private club or hospitality experience will be considered.
- Continuing education through CMAA
- Servsafe Certification
