The Columbus Club of Arlington, Inc. serves as the Home Corporation fully affiliated with the Arlington Council of the Knights of Columbus. As the incorporated entity responsible for the operation and maintenance of our facilities and services, the Columbus Club oversees a dynamic campus that includes a full-service event hall, the Council Home members-only bar and restaurant, a 9 week summer camp, and a community pool.

Rooted in Catholic values of service, fellowship, and hospitality, the Columbus Club is proud to provide high-quality venues and experiences to both our membership and the general public. The Columbus Club of Arlington, a Catholic-based event and recreation facility, is seeking a General Manager to lead operations across its vibrant event hall, members-only bar/restaurant (Council Home), summer camp, and pool. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality or nonprofit professional who thrives in both strategic leadership and hands-on management

Club is open 7 days per week, 12 months per year.

General Manager of The Columbus Club of Arlington
The Columbus Club of Arlington, a Catholic-based event and recreation facility, is seeking a General Manager to lead operations across its vibrant event hall, members-only bar/restaurant (Council Home), summer camp, and pool. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality or nonprofit professional who thrives in both strategic leadership and hands-on management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the event hall, Council Home bar/restaurant, summer camp, and pool.
  • Recruit, schedule, and supervise staff (full-time, part-time, and seasonal).
  • Manage budgets, payroll, and vendor contracts; ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Direct purchasing and inventory for food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain facilities, address building needs, and oversee technology systems.
  • Ensure excellent member and guest experiences rooted in Catholic values of hospitality and stewardship.
  • Collaborate with and provide briefings to the Board of Directors on strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Represent the Club in the community, building relationships and driving new business.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Preffered Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, event management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, club operations, nonprofit management, or recreation.
  • Strong background in staff management, budgeting, and food & beverage operations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to Catholic mission and values.
  • Flexible schedule; evenings and weekends required.

Educational Requirements

  • Preffered Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, event management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
