Hidden Hills Golf Club is a historic public golf club which has served the Jacksonville community since 1966. The club provides exceptional experiences for dining and golfing guests. We pride ourselves on our beautifully maintained food & beverage and golf facilities, outstanding customer service, and a vibrant atmosphere. Everyone is welcome at Hidden Hills Golf Club — membership is no longer required!

Play a round on our championship Arnold Palmer signature design golf course and experience our unique layout with rolling hills and fairways on one of the highest elevations in Jacksonville. Whether it’s nine or 18, riding or walking, you’ll enjoy the beauty and tranquility of our beautiful course and lush landscaping. Use the practice facility to work on your game, or warm up before a round. Driving range, chipping green and putting green allow you to improve your swing or work out the kinks. Our PGA Professionals stand ready with individual or group lessons to help you make the most of your game.

Our 6,892-yard public golf course at Hidden Hills Country Club was previously the site of the Greater Jacksonville Open, a tournament that eventually evolved into what is now the TPC Sawgrass. Among winners at our course were Gary Player, Tony Jacklin and Don January. It’s now an Arnold Palmer Signature layout, known for its intriguing curves and contours and rolling fairways, a setting that you don’t often find in Florida. Our fairways are lined with majestic pines and oaks; our lush greens have won a name for Hidden Hills in North Florida.

Visit our Hills Grill for lunch or for cold beverages before or after your round of golf! Our casual dining room is open to the public seven days a week, with lunch served from 11 AM to 4 PM and beverage service daily until sunset. Join us on Friday nights for Chef Steve's appetizer & dinner specials or enjoy our all-day Grill menu! For your safety and convenience, we now offer curbside pickup. Simply call the Hills Grill at 904-641-8121 (ext. 123), place your order and we’ll meet you in front of the clubhouse where you can PICK UP & PAY from the convenience of your vehicle.

Accounting Manager

Job Description

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the golf club, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to contribute to the strategic financial planning of the organization. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to ensure accurate financial records and efficient business processes.

Candidate Qualifications

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role, preferably within the hospitality or golf industry.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all staff.
Research prowess and ability to determine correct measures for accurately reconciling accounts.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Knowledge of Golf Operating Systems.
Experience with golf course management software.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
