  • 18 hole course, par 72, designed by Ogilvy, Cocking & Mead
  • 9 hole course, par 36, designed by Ogilvy, Cocking & Mead
Together, Geoff Ogilvy, Mike Cocking and Ashley Mead (OCM) form a talented and expert team with a very thoughtful, hands-on approach to course design and construction. The Fall Line is OCM’s first ground-up design in the United States which is on the heels of their masterful redesign of Medinah Country Club. The East and West Courses boast 36 holes in total. The East Course draws its inspiration from the London Heathland courses, like Sunningdale Old & New, Swinley Forest, and Walton Heath. Here the fairways are slightly narrower in native vegetation that approximate the texture of heather. The West Course takes its inspiration from the Australian Sandbelt courses like Royal Melbourne, Victoria and Kingston Heath. That unmistakable aesthetic includes tight fairway turf, expansive sandy waste areas, and green surfaces that fall directly into the bunkers. With two unique styles for golf designed and a wonderful plot of land remaining close to the Range Barn, the idea of a third for the Short Course was born. With many sand quarries in the region the idea of building a quarry and routing holes around it took shape.
