Other Athletic Facilities
Part of the allure of Pine Canyon is its family-friendly vibe. Our club embraces a youthful spirit and goes to great lengths to foster an inclusive, family-centric energy by offering events for all ages as well as activities designed exclusively for the younger set. Pine Canyon offers a sand volleyball court, outdoor basketball court surrounded by aspen trees, and community playground and park found at Trout Creek Park (our favorite spot to catch a rainbow trout!)
Pine Canyon members – both young and the young-at-heart – spend warm summer evenings at The Yard. The Yard is a multi-acre park with a soccer pitch, football field and a Whiffle Ball diamond complete with dugouts and an outfield fence.
Winter brings a certain magic to Pine Canyon, as snow covers the San Francisco Peaks and we trade in swimsuits and golf clubs for skis and snowshoes. Winter at Pine Canyon means skating on our 4,000 sq ft. ice rink, sledding on our rolling hills complete with snowmakers and Pine Canyon snow tubes, and fat tire bike rides through snow-dusted trails.
The Pine Canyon Internship Program offers hospitality students a rare opportunity to gain immersive, hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-end private club environment. Over the course of a fast-paced summer, interns will rotate through multiple areas of club operations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to deliver a truly exceptional member experience.
From front-of-house roles like serving, bartending, and supervisory shifts, to behind-the-scenes exposure in culinary operations, interns will build practical skills and confidence in every facet of hospitality. Beyond day-to-day training, interns will have the chance to learn directly from our senior leadership team—including our General Manager, Head Golf Professional, and Director of Agronomy—offering unique insights into club management, member engagement, and strategic decision-making.
This program experience is designed to equip interns with the knowledge, mentorship, and real-world perspective needed to launch a successful career in private clubs. Pine Canyon is proud to offer a program that is as exciting and high-energy as the summer season itself.

Program Structure
The program kicks off with a 14-day immersive training period where interns shadow carefully selected team members in a variety of roles. This experience is designed to give interns a true 360° view of the food and beverage operation — from the Clubhouse to Morrish Station to Camp Grill.
By starting at the hourly level, interns gain a strong foundation of how each position contributes to the member experience. This baseline knowledge then sets the stage for growth: throughout the summer, interns will step into supervisory roles, taking on real hands-on leadership opportunities and learning firsthand what it means to support a team in the private club industry.
In addition, interns will participate in weekly cross-departmental sessions, meeting with leaders from golf, membership, recreation, and more, to build a comprehensive understanding of club operations and explore potential career paths.
