We have a rich history here in the community and take pride in our amazing facility and the service we provide to our well-deserved, caring membership. Job Description
Grandfather Golf and Country Club's internship program will provide students with hands-on experience in the Hospitality industry, with a focus on Food and Beverage. This opportunity will also provide exposure to various facets of the club's business and equip participants with tools and skills instrumental to embarking on a hospitality career.
Our internship program is 12 weeks long, and students will work across all of our Food and Beverage outlets, each with its own unique characteristics, ranging from casual to formal dining. There will also be semi-monthly learning sessions, during which students will spend time with club leadership to learn various aspects of the Club's business, including Food and Beverage operations, Member Relations, Financial operations, Club Governance, Membership, Human Resources, and Golf and Tennis Operations.
Candidate Qualifications
Enrolled in a 2 or 4-year hospitality, tourism, or business program
Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment
A can-do attitude and willingness to please
The ability to create an exceptional member experience
Strong work ethic
