Hideaway Beach Club on Marco Island, FL is seeking an experienced, service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead our Front-of-House operations and elevate the member experience. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor, builds strong teams, and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent service. Hideaway is a Platinum Club of America and an “Exceptional” Distinguished Club.

Club is open 7 days per week, 12 months per year.

F&B Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the F&B Director, the F&B Manager plays a critical role in staff leadership, member engagement, and daily dining and event execution. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, values teamwork, and is always looking for ways to improve both themselves and the operation.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Recruit, hire, train, and coach FOH team members
  • Lead by example, ensuring professional appearance and performance aligned with Club standards
  • Create weekly schedules aligned with the Club calendar and departmental budget
  • Conduct effective pre-shift meetings to review menus, floor plans, service expectations, and member preferences
  • Motivate, support, and hold staff accountable through opening and closing manager duties

Member Experience

  • Build strong relationships with members; name recognition is essential
  • Be present on the floor during all meal periods to greet members, oversee service flow, and resolve concerns in real time
  • Communicate member feedback to the Clubhouse Manager, Executive Chef, and General Manager as appropriate
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency, responsiveness, and follow-through

Dining & Event Operations

  • Manage reservations, dining room layouts, and floor plans
  • Coordinate banquet and event details, including BEOs, calendars, and staffing
  • Collaborate closely with BOH to communicate special requests, large parties, and last-minute changes
  • Inspect dining rooms, bars, and service stations for readiness, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Assist hands-on when needed—serving tables or bartending during peak times

Beverage Operations & Inventory Management

  • Oversee beverage ordering for all outlets, including beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Establish and maintain appropriate par levels to support daily service, events, and seasonal volume
  • Conduct and reconcile monthly beverage inventories; investigate and address variances
  • Partner with the F&B Director to manage beverage costs, pricing, and margins
  • Work with vendors to source products, manage allocations, and coordinate deliveries
  • Support beverage menu development, wine lists, and drink features in alignment with Club standards

Administrative & Operational Oversight

  • Attend weekly F&B management meetings
  • Maintain Outlook calendars and event documentation
  • Order linens and manage par levels for daily service and special events
  • Develop wine lists and drink specials as appropriate
  • Take ownership of both front-facing and behind-the-scenes areas to ensure a polished, professional environment

Correspond professionally with members, vendors, and associates at all times

Candidate Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of food & beverage management experience (country club experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Passion for hospitality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency with scheduling, event planning, and FOH systems
    (Jonas experience a plus, not required)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Educational Requirements

College degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred
