Los Prados Golf Course is owned and operated by the Los Prados Community Association. The community is comprosed of 1,358 homes that souround the golf course. The gold course palys to a par of 70 with the yardage just under 6000. The fairways are tight and the extremely fast greens are well bunkered making this course very challenging.

Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations of a multi-faceted property that includes a golf course, full-service restaurant, and homeowners’ association. This role requires operational excellence, financial performance, exceptional customer/resident experiences, and compliance with all regulatory and governance standards. The GM serves as the primary liaison between HOA board members, CAM, staff, residents, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of the golf course, clubhouse, restaurant, and HOA services.
- Establish and maintain high standards for service quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-departmental activities to ensure seamless operations.
2. Financial Management
- Develop and manage annual multi-million-dollar budgets for all departments.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost controls and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
3. Golf Course Management
- Supervise golf operations, including tee time management, tournaments, and merchandising.
- Work closely with the Head Golf Pro to ensure exceptional member and guest golf experience through programming and events.
- Work closely with the Golf Superintendent to ensure course conditions meet or exceed expectations.
4. Restaurant & Food Service Oversight
- Oversee all food and beverage operations, including staffing, menus, inventory, and service standards.
- Ensure profitability and high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the Event Manager to ensure exceptional planning, coordination and execution of events.
5. HOA Administration
- Works closely with the CAM to enforce HOA rules, regulations, and covenants fairly and consistently.
- Oversee property maintenance, landscaping, and community services.
- Prepare for and attend HOA meetings.
6. Staff Leadership & Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage department heads and staff.
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.
7. Customer & Member Relations
- Build strong relationships with residents, members, and guests.
- Address concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Develop programs and events to enhance community engagement and satisfaction.
8. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain appropriate licenses, permits, and insurance.
- Oversee and enforce all vendor and subcontractor contracts
- Manage all social media regulations including posting and engagement
- Implement safety protocols to protect guests, residents, and staff.
- Develop, oversee and enforce workplace policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of senior management experience in hospitality, golf operations, country club management, or similar environment.
- Strong financial and budgeting experience.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of HOA governance and property management practices is highly desirable.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Full-time, on-site role with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Requires regular presence across all operational areas, including outdoor golf facilities.
