Job Description
Wicker Point Golf Club, part of Russell Lands on Lake Martin, Alabama, is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Clubhouse Manager / Food & Beverage Director. Located in Alexander City, Alabama, Wicker Point is the centerpiece of Russell Lands' vision for The Heritage—a private club dedicated to exceptional golf, outstanding hospitality, and stewardship of the natural beauty of Lake Martin. Our purpose is to create memorable experiences for members, their families, and guests through genuine service, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
This leadership role oversees all food and beverage operations, dining room service, event coordination, and staff development. Working closely with the Clubhouse Manager and Executive Chef, the Assistant Clubhouse Manager/Food & Beverage Director ensures that every member and guest enjoys unsurpassed service, exceptional cuisine, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This individual serves as a visible leader throughout the clubhouse, helping build a culture grounded in teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive food and beverage or club management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop a service-oriented team
- Experience with event planning and execution
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and fine dining standards
- Proficiency in point-of-sale and club management software
- Private club experience preferred
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred. CMAA membership or pursuit of CCM designation a plus.
