Job Description
The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for successfully managing the food and beverage operations at Savannah Country Club. This position works closely with the GM, AGM, Chef, Golf Professionals and Membership Sales Manager, while leading the Food and Beverage and Catering team. The Food and Beverage Director will report directly to the General Manager.
Position Objective: To use motivation, organization, and team work to promote growth and sustain high quality and consistency in all food and beverage operations. Specifics would include; building and inspiring an exceptional service team, increasing food and beverage revenues while keeping all costs in line, and helping to ensure an exceptional Member Experience for our members and guests with each visit to the club.
Candidate Qualifications
- Education and or Experience - College Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred, however not necessary.
- Ability to work 8+ hours at a time, holidays and weekends when necessary
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Food and Beverage Management
- Prior experience in a private club is preferred, however not necessary
- Basic computer knowledge and skills are required
