Brief Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Cleans all common area restrooms, hallways, the main lobby and all administration offices. Additionally, cleans all overnight rooms as assigned. Abides by and demonstrates the shared spirit of “Serve Those Who Serve” member services system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DUTIES:
1 Cleans and sanitizes toilets, sinks and stalls of the common area restroom of the guest and employee restrooms
2 Washes restroom tiles and shines fixtures
3 Replenishes hand soap and towels in all restrooms
4 Vacuums administration offices and hallways; empties wastebaskets and trash cans
5 Vacuums carpets in hotel rooms and hallways of the hotel
6 Dusts and shines furniture and hotel pictures in our hotel rooms
7 Dusts and vacuums the Library and Board Room when not in use by members
8 Dusts and shines all furniture and art work in common areas of the Club
9 Reports all needed repairs to the Executive Housekeeper
10 Assists with laundry work and guestrooms cleaning when needed
11 Responsible for security of Club property and keeps work station free of safety hazards
12 Other job duties and responsibilities may be added or deleted as business demand dictates or as assigned by supervisor.
13 Attendance is an essential function of the position, which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
14 May be required to clean up to 16 rooms, during peak business times. Must be able to clean at a minimum of up to 12 hotel rooms per scheduled shift.
Candidate Qualifications
Education and Training: (Minimum education / training required):
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training
• Must be creative, approachable, outgoing, positive in nature, cheerful, friendly, trustworthy, pro-active and a problem solver.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
