Brief Job Description

The Club at Ravenna is seeking a Food & Beverage Director to join our growing team! Under the direction of the President/CEO, this person will be responsible for all FOH dining, beverage, and banquet services at the club. This person will supervise the Dining Room Manager, the Locker Room manager, the Banquet Manager, and all FOH team members. They will also be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all FOH team members. They will work closely with the Executive Chef in planning and implementing operating and capital budgets for the Food and Beverage Department.

Candidate Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO The Club at Ravenna:

3-5 years’ experience as a Food & Beverage Manager/Director
Extremely knowledgeable about food and beverage
Proven success in creating and ensuring member dining and event service standards are met
Highly organized
High level of attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledgeable about point-of-sale systems
Knowledgeable about the private club business model
Polished and profession appearance and presentation
Any other duties as assigned
Working knowledge of financial statements and debits and credits
A willingness to teach and be flexible to change
Team player and builder; engaging and collaborative
Ability to multi-task daily
