Golf Facilities

  • 22 hole course, par 72, designed by William Gordon
It is a parkland-style course laid out over 272 acres, with rolling hills and tree-lined fairways along scenic Bear Creek. The greens at SPCC are a Rye/Bent grass mix, with a Rye/Bermuda blend in the fairways and rough. Our experienced staff works diligently throughout the year to maintain prime playing conditions. Members have the luxury of rarely having to wait for a tee time any day of the week. An 18 hole round can usually be played in 4 hours or less! The course is also very walk-able for those who prefer some additional exercise.

Tennis Facilities

  • 6 outdoor lighted Hard courts
We have an active tennis crowd of individuals and groups ranging in all play levels. We also offer 2 pickleball courts. Equipment to play pickleball can be found at the front desk in the clubhouse.

Swimming Facilities

The beauty of our picturesque waterfront Olympic-sized pool rivals any club pool in the area! It also features a diving board, a kiddie pool, snack bar, Tiki bar, and a children’s play area. The grassy areas have umbrellas to relax under and escape the sun while taking in the wildlife and views of the golf course. And there’s nothing like our refreshing afternoon breezes! The pool is open through Labor Day beginning Memorial Day Weekend.

MAIN DINING ROOM Our Main Dining Room is the highlight of our facility with a spectacular view of the water and the golf course. During the cooler months, our cozy copper fireplace creates a relaxing ambience for the perfect meal with family and friends. It can comfortably seat 325 guests for larger gatherings and events. EAST TERRACE ROOM This room overlooks our scenic golf course with access to the patio. It will comfortably seat up to 40 guests. WEST TERRACE ROOM With views of the water and golf course, our West Terrace Room can seat up to 75 guests. LOUNGE Our bar has a friendly, casual atmosphere that can comfortably seat 40 guests while enjoying one of three high definition TVs. TROPHY ROOM This is the place for an informal gathering after finishing a round of golf, or a day at the pool, marina or time on the courts. It offers nice views of the golf course, has high definition TVs and is adjacent to the outdoor patio. This room can easily seat up to 50 guests. PATIO When the weather cooperates, our patio is one of our most popular eating spots! Enjoy seated dining under our tent while overlooking the golf course and water. Sunsets are especially nice! We have seating for up to 60 guests here.

Brief Job Description

A great club on the rise! Under new owners, Up To Par Management was selected to operate the club through massive positive change. The new ownership has invested millions into the property with plans for millions more. 

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 plus operational bonus up to $10,000. Full health benefits, dental, vision, and 401K, short and long-term disability, vacation, cell phone reimbursement, and professional dues paid. 

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations. Living and fostering Up To Par's Core Values and established Objectives and Key Results. The GM is expected to lead the team through the adoption of Up To Par processes. The General Manager must possess strong operational, financial, and analytical skills. This is a hand on position, active within the operations coaching and leading the team to desired results. The General Manager will work closely with the Marketing, Agronomy, Human Resources, and Accounting corporate teams. 

Candidate Qualifications

  • Ideally have a strong food and beverage background.
  • Willingness and desire to create a team learning environment and to foster a positive, fulfilling work environment.
  • Demonstrate strengths in team-building and leadership skills.
  • Supervisory experience or demonstrated willingness, desire, and ability to supervise with an aptitude for coaching, mentoring, training, and developing teammates' performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teammates with confidence in work processes and goals.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including the ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills, ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers.
