Culinary Summer Internship

Brief Job Description

Addison Reserve is looking for highly motivated students who have a desire to learn and sharpen their skills in a hands-on first class environment.

We are looking for someone to work as a team player, follow instructions, and help us delight our members and their guests with delicious food from our menu. In addition to cooking prowess, great communication and organizational skills are paramount. A good candidate is a person with attention to detail who can keep the kitchen tidy and clean all while preparing, cooking, and arranging food together with the rest of our kitchen staff.

Scheduling and Availability: Applicant must have open availability and will be full-time (30+ hours/week) for the duration of the internship.

Uniform Requirements: All uniform will be provided for FREE. We recommend having at least one-pair of black non-slip shoes, all-white chef coat, and black work pants.

Transportation: Free transportation is available to and from the Housing complex.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must be able to push, pull, and lift at least 30 pounds.
Must be able to stand for long extended periods of time.
May be required to work outdoors during varying degrees and weather.

Educational Requirements

Applicant is currently enrolled in a culinary or hospitality program and has had prior experience in culinary environment, preferable in a resort or private club setting.

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Voluntary Housing: Free Housing is available upon request for interns during the Summer months (May to August).
