Aronimink Golf Club is a family-oriented, full-service Golf Club located in the Northwest suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. Founded in 1896, Aronimink Golf Club is proud to offer Members the finest in dining and sporting activities, including a nationally ranked Donald Ross-designed golf course.

The Club also offers trapshooting, a pool facility featuring a diving pool, a lap-lane pool, and a kid’s pool, and a racquets facility featuring nine outdoor tennis courts, two indoor tennis courts, four platform tennis courts, as well as several pickleball courts.

Aronimink Golf Club is perennially recognized as one of the top golf courses in the country and the top clubs in the world. Aronimink is currently ranked as the #8 Platinum Golf Club in America, the #30 Platinum Golf & Country Club in the World, and the #86 golf course in the country. In 2026, Aronimink will serve as the host venue for the 108th PGA Championship.

Job Description

As a Food and Beverage Intern at Aronimink Golf Club, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team members in the Food and Beverage department. This internship is designed to provide you with a well-rounded understanding of the operations within this department, including Member dining management, service, event planning, and golf course hospitality. Be a part of golf history today at Aronimink Golf Club.

Duties/Responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to see all aspects of F&B management including service, staff training, inventory management, staff management, and operating procedures, and will have exposure to participating in projects such as menu development and PGA Championship Planning.
Follows the course schedule provided for the internship
Participates in all levels of service from hosting, bussing, running, serving, bartender, and outside operations
Attends weekly BEO meetings
Reads required materials for the course
Completes other assignments as assigned
Practice and abide by all Club policies and procedures

Candidate Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Maintain a positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork
Possess a passion for food and service

Educational Requirements

Education and Experience:

Minimum 1-year experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or resort, banquet operations preferred
Current enrollment in an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree program
Available to complete at minimum a 14-week program (April-September)
A cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum
