Special Club Features
The Millbrook Golf & Tennis Club is a private golf and tennis club that serves the athletic, recreational, and social needs of the membership. The members view the Club as “their little club in the country”, a place where they grew up and now bring their own children.
Founded in 1900, the Club’s picturesque 70-acre facility encompasses an Audubon certified 9 hole golf course, 7 HarTru tennis courts, one hard court, two paddle courts, and a pool. The beautiful new Golf House was constructed in 2011 to include locker rooms, a pro shop, General Manager & Golf Pro offices, a gracious bar/sitting room with a fireplace, and a beautiful dining porch with views over the golf course to the Taconic Mountain Range.
The historic Club House, which includes, a snack bar, bar, and the central kitchen provides members with a gracious living and entertaining space including a fireplace, backgammon tables, a piano and a welcoming dining porch overlooking the tennis courts, which is the heart of the Club.
The Club runs thriving, high-quality golf, tennis, and social programs as well as family and youth focused events and camps during the season.

: Food and Beverage Intern (Management Track) - With Staff Meals and Housing Provided
We are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for aspiring hospitality leaders to join our team as Food and Beverage Interns. In addition to gaining valuable management experience and access to amenities, this position includes staff meals provided twice a day and housing accommodations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee snack bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and special projects to enhance leadership skills
- Act as a liaison between snack bar staff and management, addressing concerns and providing support
- Utilize amenities such as tennis, golf, pool, and paddle tennis with prior approval, subject to availability and limited use on designated days
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
Candidate Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a hospitality management program or related field with a focus on leadership and management
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Prior experience in food and beverage service preferred, but not required
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
