Brief Job Description

As one of the premier clubs in the Southeast, the internship program at Greenville County Club offers a tiered experience which encompasses all aspects of food & beverage, agronomy, golf, marketing, private events and human resources within the club.  The program is designed for individuals who are preparing for a career path within the club industry and will allow students the opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Eagerness and willingness to grow their knowledge base
  • Professional with excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and organized
  • Punctual and flexible
  • Ability to work as part of a team and open to feedback

Educational Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a 4-year Hospitality, Agronomy or Golf Professional program
  • Club experience a plus

Other Benefits

In addition to field experience, interns will be provided housing, paid an hourly rate and can expect to work 40+ hours each week. Pro shop discounts, uniforms and a meal allowance is also provided.  Interns must have own transportation. Selected interns will be given the opportunity to attend regularly scheduled CMAA meetings while employed.
