Brief Job Description
Kenwood Country Club, a premier family country club in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks to grow our operational team with passionate and career-oriented college students pursuing a degree related to Hospitality.
This Food and Beverage Supervisory internship will provide students hands-on learning and situational leadership opportunities. Students seeking a food and beverage supervisory internship should have completed a previous food and beverage internship or have multiple seasons/years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Supervisory interns will have the opportunity to lead shifts, develop schedules, engage in seasonal hiring, attend weekly operation meetings, and learn the prerequisite skills to managing an operation – conduct inventory, payroll management, POS administration.

The Pavilion, our bar and restaurant within the same footprint of our pool complex is an evening dining operation offering a country club casual menu and bar service. On a busy Saturday, these operations combine for 500 covers.
Restaurant Management Supervisory Internship works in conjunction with our salaried Food and Beverage Managers to lead shifts in our restaurants. This internship will provide the opportunity to learn the finer aspects of floor management, lead lineups/pre-shifts, and learn closing procedures.
Each intern will also complete an individual project highlighting an aspect of the food and beverage curriculum they are interested in.
