Aronimink Golf Club is a family-oriented, full-service Golf Club located in the Northwest suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. Founded in 1896, Aronimink Golf Club is proud to offer Members the finest in dining and sporting activities, including a nationally ranked Donald Ross-designed golf course.

The Club also offers trapshooting, a pool facility featuring a diving pool, a lap-lane pool, and a kid’s pool, and a racquets facility featuring nine outdoor tennis courts, two indoor tennis courts, four platform tennis courts, as well as several pickleball courts.

Aronimink Golf Club is perennially recognized as one of the top golf courses in the country and the top clubs in the world. Aronimink is currently ranked as the #8 Platinum Golf Club in America, the #28 Platinum Golf & Country Club in the World, and the #86 golf course in the country. In 2026, Aronimink will serve as the host venue for the 108th PGA Championship.

This rotational, leadership-focused program offers hands-on experience in a dynamic private club environment, within our Food and Beverage Department. Intership Details:
The Food and Beverage Leadership Internship is a comprehensive, three-part rotational program designed to provide immersive, hands-on experience as a member of the F&B Leadership team. Interns will rotate through 1) Banquets and Events, where they will learn to plan, execute, and manage large-scale gatherings; 2) Member Dining, which offers exposure to both formal, upscale dining and more casual settings, including poolside service; and 3) the Golf Patio, a Member favorite that provides a dynamic outdoor dining experience.

The program also includes additional educational components managed by our Training and Development Manager to ensure accountability for both the Intern and the Operational Leaders, fostering a well-rounded and impactful learning experience. See below:

  • Personalized 1 on 1 meetings with the Clubhouse Manager and Assistant General Manager
  • Rotational self and manager evaluations 
  • 3 part finance review series
  • "Shadow day" with Leader of your choice
  • End of program personalized Capstone project
  • Attendance in club wide Leadership meetings
  • Leadership training events and activities 
  • Resume review and interview preparation
  • 1 week rotation in Culinary 
  • Participation in local CMAA Chapter Educations

Candidate Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Hospitality, Business, or Event Management Program (but candidates with like majors will be considered)
  • Passionate, professional, trustworthy, self-motivated
  • Adaptable with a positive attitude
  • Previous Food and Beverage experience preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
