We are a private golf club, founded in 1898, and considered the "Crown Jewel" of the Jersey Shore. Just a stone's throw away from the Club are some of the best beaches on the East Coast. Our location provides easy access to New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City.

Spring Lake Golf Club is a “Member Centric” club dedicated to providing its members an exceptional, exclusive private club experience that features world-class golf facilities, superb dining, and social amenities. SLGC is not only a club but a family where Members are treated as our family.

Golf Facilities

18 hole course, par 72, designed by A.W. Tillinghast & George C. Thomas

To create and execute the new plan they turned to one of America's greatest golf course architects, Albert Warren Tillinghast. As a golf course designer, Tillinghast had much in common with George Thomas. Both were devotees of generous teeing areas, small greens, artful bunkers, and well-placed trees to frame a hole.

Job Description

Are you looking for your first internship? Do you want to learn all aspects of a the Club industry? Spring Lake Golf Club is actively seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team for our rotational internship program. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of golf club operations, including food and beverage, course maintenance, event coordination, and more. The rotational structure allows interns to explore different departments within the golf club and develop a well-rounded understanding of the business.

Candidate Qualifications

Currently pursuing future graduate of a hospitality school focusing on club management
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with members and staff.
Basic knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Enthusiastic, motivated, and a team player with a willingness to learn.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Previous internship or work experience in hospitality or sports management is an asset, but not required.
